“Whiter whites” and brighter colors are the results of adding baking soda to the regular quantity of liquid detergent you use for washing. When you add baking soda to water, it will soften it, allowing you to use less laundry soap.
For top-loading machines, add 125 ml (1/2 cup) of baking soda, and for front-loading machines, add 60 ml ( 1/4 cup).

In a bowl, combine the baking soda, soda crystals, citric acid, and coarse salt. Add a little water using a sprayer, and stir to combine.
Keep adding water until a compact powdery consistency is achieved. Next, pour the mixture into your ice cube tray and press down firmly to form little pellets.
To loosen the pills, place in the fridge for 24 hours and then flip the ice cube tray over.
